Mount Everest, at 29,029’, is the highest peak in the world. There have been thousands of people who have stood at the top of this giant, but how many of these people dominated the climb after battling through cancer?
Sean Swarner was diagnosed with two life-threatening forms of cancer as a teenager, and only given two weeks to live after the second diagnosis. He was able to overcome these obstacles, although now he only has full function of one lung. Regardless, he pushed through and became the first cancer survivor to scale Mount Everest, as well as completing the 7-Summits.
After this heroic accomplishment, Sean continues to impress by writing the book “Keep Climbing” and acting as an inspirational speaker around the world. He is the pure embodiment of never giving up, and we look forward to seeing what Sean will accomplish next as a prominent be.media client.
